Ali Onur Özçelik

Local Coordinator

Ali Onur Özçelik is an Associate Professor and a Lecturer in International Relations Department at Eskisehir Osmangazi University. After obtaining his MA in Transatlantic Relations at the University of Birmingham, he obtained his PhD in the Department of Politics at the University of Sheffield. He has worked on the Europeanization and Multi-level governance concepts with a specific reference to the situations for Turkish subnational administrations. His research interests also involve the politics of non-state actors, transnational social movements, diplomacy for non-state actors, interest representations, lobbying and EU’s Neighboorhood Policy. Özçelik has involved several youth projects supported by the EU and UN. Most recently, he has been working as regional coordinator for the EU project titled as Anatolian Centre of Excellence. He is also the vice-president of Eskişehir European Union Association.
